Myself and our Vizsla Poppy have just finished several 1-1 sessions with Tamsin. Having been told on a regular basis by people, how well behaved Poppy is, it came as a surprise to them when I said I had contacted Tamsin. I knew there was, at times, one particular issue which to me seemed like Pops being stubborn, so for me, it was an issue, and therefore something I needed to learn along side Poppy.
After 1.5 hours consultation to begin with, Poppy’s training was stripped back to the very beginning and we had several one hour sessions.
Tamsin is friendly, approachable and down to earth which suits me and Pops perfectly. She explained each point during the session and why, giving me the full picture and therefore a better understanding of techniques and reasoning.
Poppy is now much better, and of course, I am still using the techniques to reinforce and encourage the desired behaviour from her. Tamsin encouraged me to contact her with any queries or issues between sessions, and also now that those sessions have finished. It was Tamsin’s decision that Poppy had now had enough of the training, that in my eyes is a huge positive.
I would highly recommend Tamsin if anyone has any concerns or anything about your dog.
